It tastes like they care. My burrito was almost as long as my arm and street food tasty. It wasn't over seasoned, it was spot on. Really solid. I'll be back.

Two friends and I stopped by here on a Sunday night for a casual birthday dinner. We asked to see a menu and there was none -- the server said just ask me what you want and if I have it I'll make it. He had birria that night (no pork) so I went with birria enchiladas. One friend had tacos and the other seafood soup. The food was EXCELLENT! The fresh warm tortillas nicely accompanied the soup. Prices were reasonable. It being Sunday night parking was relatively easy right on International. If you're in the neighborhood and are hungry it's a great spot; if you're not in the neighborhood but want to try some really homemade Mexican this is also a good answer! I'll be there again soon.

The food is really good and my favorite is the pollo asado. He makes it into chicken fajitas as well. This is the place to come and hand out and eat. The owner is such a sweet guy and always has a smile on his face. Great customer service every time. I love ordering for all my large events. I highly recommend eating here

If you like no-frills food, a chill place to eat, please do support this taqueria. We appreciate finding this spot nearby our house. Pedro the owner cooks everything to order, from the meat to even pressing and cooking the tortillas. He mainly serves tacos and quesadillas, some soups. I like the grilled shrimp which comes with cheese and sour cream. My partner and friend really like the carne asada. There's no visual menu so you just talk to Pedro about what you want. He's really sweet and friendly, and keeps a clean kitchen. After you order he'll give you some freshly fried chips with salsa and refried beans. Then you'll see him prep the meats and tortillas. We like how fresh everything tastes, and the tacos are a nice portion. You can add more salt to the meat if you like it more salty, and he's always down to offer more salsa and refried beans. And chips. The tacos are about $3.50/$4 each, which is worth the quality of the food and friendly service. He definitely deserves more business so pls give it a try!!

The man at the front was very kind but make sure to bring cash bc I don't think they take card atm. I ordered on the phone and it was quick and easy service. Sopes

Delicious tacos. Ordered 3 pollo asado and 3 carne asada tacos. The tortillas were hand made (I watched the owner press them), the salsa was the perfect level of heat, and the chicken and steak were very flavorful. The tacos were very generously proportioned, each with a single beautiful corn tortilla. The owner was really friendly. He mentioned that his refried beans are vegetarian and made with vegetable oil not pork for those who don't eat pork. We'll be back!

A RARE FIND. Don Pedro is the elder behind the counter. He teaches other cooks in the Bay Area to make the food that earned these reviews. Go in, order the asada, worth it.

Great food and atmosphere! The asada was lean and the chicken was great as well! I had tacos with hand made tortillas. Definitely the best tacos I've had in Oakland, and that's coming from a native! Thank you!
